内容提要

本教程将英语学习与了解英美法律、提高法律英语操作能力紧密结合，即在学习英语的同时，能使学生系统地了解英美法律制度的概貌；在了解英美法律的同时，学习和操练英美法律涉及的常用词汇和表达方式，在巩固一般语言知识和运用能力的基础上，提高学生阅读案例的能力，并能翻译和起草一般难度的法律文件。

本教程主要分阅读、案例研究、法律文书写作三大部分。阅读部分选材广泛，信息量大，基本包含了英美国家法律制度的主要方面；案例均精选于著名的LexisNexis法律资料库；法律文书均取材于最新的中外法律实践。
