Witnessed Their Success in Their Doctorial Oral Defense

On September 29, the first Chinese doctoral candidates finished their oral defense for their doctorial dissertations in the Demonstration Hall of the Research Center of Arts in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. The members of the committee are experts from institutes and universities of Hong Kong and Mainland. The audience present includes postgraduate students of forensic linguistics and other orientations.

Guangdong University of Foreign Studies began to enroll doctoral candidates of forensic linguistics in the year of 2002, the first in China’s Mainland. Since the education of these doctoral candidates has drawn extensive support from experts of forensic linguistics and other related fields both at home and abroad, the supervisors of these candidates expressed their most sincere gratitude during the defense ceremony.
